Former Orlando Magic and now free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu has come to a contract agreement with the Portland Trailblazers according to media sources.
The deal will not be official until next week when Turkoglu can sign a contract with Portland. July 8th is when free agents are officially able to sign after the 2009-2010 salary cap is released.
Turkoglu is expected to sign a five-year, 50 million dollar deal with the Trailblazers. He will also become the teams starting small forward, a position the Blazers have been trying to address for quite a few years. This deal is expected to make the Blazers even more potent with the veteran presence and versatility Turkoglu brings.
