Brett Favre To Retire

ESPN has reported that Brett Favre has decided to retire after an illustrious 17 year career. Favre will retire as, unquestionably, one of the best quarterbacks of all-time, assuring his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Favre will surely be remembered for his 9 Pro Bowl appearances, 2 Super Bowl appearances and holding records for touchdown passes, total passing yards, wins and consecutive games started. But, Favre will also be remembered as a true professional; a prototypical, old fashioned, hard-nosed football player. After last season’s disappointing performance, Favre came back and had a superb season this year when many people thought he should have retired.
