Brett Favre with the Jets, Don't Make Any Bets

 
Well, now that the drama is over with, maybe, just maybe we can get down to playing some football. Brett Favre has finally been traded. No, probably not to the team that he was hoping for, but then again I don't think even he knew what he was hoping for. The season is weeks away, and just as many of you may have heard Brett say, he needs to get with a camp and learn a system soon. Brett, here's your shot. He is going to a Jets team that is already being hailed as an instant playoff contender in the AFC East. That's right. ESPN analysts are already proclaiming that with this trade, the J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS are playoff bound. Is this true? The truth is the deal for Favre is a very good one on the Jets part. They give up what seems to be at the most a second round pick and that's only if Favre plays 75 percent of the year and the Jets make the playoffs.
