Brewers-Cubs: Chicago Off to Bad Start...Again

 
An 8-2 thrashing unleashed by the powerhouse Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday sent the Chicago Cubs reeling to a 0-2 start.  I was standing outside Wrigley Field as 30,000 Chicagoans with killed buzzes filed into the streets of the Windy City.  The looks on the faces of these die-hard fans seemed eerily familiar.  It's almost as if they've been here before... walking out of a Cubs game, after a loss.  It turns out they have  been here before—A lot.  The Cubs lose a ton of games.  They also do not win a ton of games.  I asked a few guys wearing Mickey Morandini jerseys how they felt.  One guy gave me a pretty long answer, but he was speaking in a Chicago accent—so instead of hearing what he actually said, I was puking all over the sidewalk.  For all you Cubs fans out there, I do have some good news.  There are still 160 games left on the schedule for 2008.  The law of averages clearly states that the ...
