The Denver Broncos signed free agent safeties Marquand Manuel and Marlon McCree on Sunday to provide competition for holdovers John Lynch and Hamza Abdullah. The Broncos will be Manuel's fifth team. He played for Carolina last season and has also played for Green Bay, Seattle and Cincinnati, which chose him in the sixth round of the 2002 draft out of Florida.
