Brushes with greatness

 
Talk about a small world. Surfing the Mets just went downstairs at Shea to visit Kevin Mulvey, who is here as a spectator. Who did we see? Super Joe McEwing. He’s visiting from the Philly area, and said he just wanted to see the old ballpark one more time before it gets torn down. McEwing was a coach at Triple-A Charlotte in the White Sox organization this past season, and is headed to instructional league with that club in a few weeks. (link)
