We hear Bucknell appears to be zeroing in on three head-coaching candidates - Ohio U.’s Tim O’Shea, Columbia coach Joe Jones and Yale coach James Jones in its search to fill the vacancy left when Pat Flannery - who coached the Bison to two NCAA Tournament first-round victories in 2005 and 2006 - resigned to take another position at the University. *** La Salle University just picked up another commitment, this time from 6-8 center Devon White of Strawberry Mansion, the best big man in the Philly Public League. White, a strong rebounder, helped lead his team to the PIAA State AA championship game.
