Tonight the Sacramento Kings visited the Chicago Bulls.
For the Kings the story was health. For the first time this year they have everybody back healthy, so we can now only start to see what potential they really hold. Kevin Martin has looked great since his return from injury and did again tonight.
For the Bulls it was all about Derrick Rose. The Rookie of the Year hopeful had 10 points and six assists at the half as the Bulls led 49-42.
The game was close down the stretch. Both teams missed easy shots and free throws in the final minute.
Kevin Martin missed a free throw and short jump shot in the waning minutes and the Bulls hung on and win 99-94.
Ben Gordon led the Bulls in scoring with 24 points. Derrick Rose added 16 points and eight assists.
For the Kings, Kevin Martin led with 29 points. Brad Miller added 18 points and 12 rebounds.
The Kings will host Miami on Friday.
