Bulls-Mavericks: Chicago Ride Gordon's 35-Point Night to Rally Past Dallas
After falling behind 24-4 in the first six minutes of play, the Bulls lost another miserable game to the Dallas Mavericks at home Thursday night. Or did they? After falling behind 24-4 in the first six minutes of play the fans started booing. That is when the Bulls decided to show up and play a little basketball. With Hughes and Gooden back on the floor and Gordon playing the best game of the season, the Bulls were able to fight back from the deficit and take a one-point lead going into half time. Ben Gordon scored the first 19 of his 35 points in the first half and gave the Bulls the energy they needed to go into the second half. With the addition of Deng’s 20-point night, the Bulls were able to outlast the persistent Mavericks. The Bulls pulled ahead late in the second quarter and never looked back.
