Burrell's bat leads Phillies to win

Pat Burrell was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the fourth inning and an RBI double in the sixth off Cubs ace Carlos Zambrano, helping to propel the Phillies past the Cubs, 5-3, before a crowd of 37,368 on Friday at Citizens Bank Park.

I'll admit that I spent most of my evening watching the Flyers fall to the Capitals, but I spent a fair amount of time checking in on the Phillies. After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, the Phils battled back to earn a much needed win over the Cubs 5-3. With Jimmy Rollins sitting out yet another game, the Phillies needed someone else to step up, and Pat Burrell was the man today.....Philies snap Cubs' 5-game win streak (AP)
