Butler to have tests on injured knee

 
There’s probably nothing that can dampen your spirits knowing the Dallas Cowboys are in last place, 2 1/2 games behind the Giants, and pretty much out of the NFC East race. But there were a couple of injuries from last night’s game. Safety James Butler left the game right after his third-quarter interception with what the Giants said was a sprained knee - believed to be his right knee. He said someone rolled onto it as he was tackled after the impressive catch. He is also scheduled to undergo further tests today to determine the extent of the damage. “I don’t know what I did,” Butler said. “I’ll find out (today). I’ll be all right. I think I’ll be fine. That’s how concerned I am.” TE Kevin Boss also injured his ankle in the third quarter, but he said he expects to play Sunday in Philadelphia.
