Tampa Bay running back Carnell "Cadillac" Williams is returning from a career-threatening knee injury that's sidelined him for more than a year.
The Buccaneers activated Williams from the reserve physically unable to perform list before practice Wednesday, and he could get some playing time this week against the Minnesota Vikings. The fourth-year pro has been out since September 2007, when he tore the patellar tendon in his right knee against the Carolina Panthers.
