Cameron to start looking at other teams
Published 12/15/2007 at FOXSports.com News for MLB
Mike Cameron's tenure with the Padres is over.
Cameron, a free-agent center fielder, will sign with another club, his agent, Mike Nicotera, told FOXSports.com. However, he has not yet reached a decision on his next team.
Contract talks between Cameron and the Padres broke down Friday. The next step for the Padres, sources say, might be to pursue Cardinals center fielder Jim Edmonds in a trade.
