Can Louis Saha Revive His Career At Everton?
Everton have agreed to sign French striker Louis Saha from Manchester United, subject to him passing a medical.
Apparently David Moyes will offer him a two-year deal with the option of a one-year extension. He will sign for an undisclosed fee.
Saha will become Everton's third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Danish international Lars Jacobsen, and Segundo Castillo, the Colombian who was on trial at Blackburn Rovers earlier in the summer.
The injury-prone striker will now look to revive his career at Goodison Park, and show everyone what he's really capable of. He scored 42 goals in 124 appearances for United since joining back in January 2004 from Fulham.
The Frenchman had a bitter sweet campaign last season for United. He scored the winner at home to Sunderland back in September 2007, and sealed victory against Chelsea in the league with a penalty.
But he got injured yet again come the business end of the season, and didn't really make an impact in United's Premiership ...
