Alex Rodriguez is back in the news once again, though it has nothing to do with the tremendous spring he’s having at the plate.
Jose Canseco apparently followed through on his words, having claimed for the past several months that he had some “stuff” on A-Rod.
According to a freelance writer in Boston who mistakenly got his hands on a copy of the book, Canseco said he introduced A-Rod to a steroids supplier in the late-1990s. Canseco also charges Rodriguez with trying to sleep with his wife. This is real classy stuff.

Here’s my take on this whole thing: Canseco earned himself some credibility with his first book, “Juiced,” as most of what he wrote proved to be true. That may turn out to be dangerous, because he now has license to write whatever he wants and people must at least consider it.
But what did he actually write about A-Rod? That he introduced him to a steroids supplier? So what? If I ...
