Carl Pavano Out with Stiff Hip

 
It's the latest in the never-ending series of injuries for Carl Pavano! That's right. Fresh off of elbow surgery and back in the rotation for the first time in over a year, Pavano now has a stiff hip. He left Sunday's game, and his status is now uncertain. Did we really expect him to last more than five starts? Honestly? Unfortunately, I lost my office pool. I was betting his next injury would be an infected zit. It's now decision time for the Yanks. Pick up his $13 million option for next year, or buy him out for $1.95 mil? Hey, you can never have too many starters... (link)
