Jeff Carter scored two goals, including the winner in overtime, and the Philadelphia Flyers edged the New York Islanders 3-2 on Thursday for their fourth straight win. Carter hammered in a rebound from the front of the left circle on a power play with 24 seconds left in the extra session. Mike Richards took the initial shot.
