Cautious Tribe keeps Sizemore out

Eric Wedge put it bluntly: Nobody wants Grady Sizemore in the Indians' lineup more than he does. But the Indians' manager wants Sizemore, who is still nursing a sprained right ankle, in the lineup for the long haul. And given the wet conditions at Progressive Field on Monday, Wedge opted to leave his star center fielder off the lineup card for a second straight day.

I turned on the broadcast of the Yankees and Indians game to see that Mike Mussina was pitching out of trouble in the bottom of the fifth inning. Mussina was already over 80 pitches but did manage to escape the inning allowing just two runs despite having the bases loaded with no outs at one point. It made me wonder about a few things.
