Cavaliers-Nuggets: Add Chapter to Carmelo Anthony vs. LeBron James
Five years ago, the NBA brought in its most dynamic draft class with the likes of LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Carmelo Anthony to name a few.
LeBron James was a high school superstar who was destined to be the new face of the NBA and Carmelo was a superstar freshman who led the Syracuse Orangemen to the NCAA Championship.
Both of these players inherited losing programs, but their presence has propelled their respective teams to the playoffs year in and year out. Melo has never not been in the Western Conference playoffs since being drafted in 2003.
The two, although friends off the court, are rivals on it. They share the title for the best players on their team, the face of their organizations, and the two best young talents in the game.
