CC Sabathia Headed To Yankees: What's Next?
The Hefty Lefty has landed, and (shockingly) it's in the Bronx.
The New York Yankees have reportedly agreed in principle on a seven-year, $160 million deal with free agent starting pitcher CC Sabathia. The deal will be finalized pending a physical soon.
And the classic Van Morrison song Domino pops into my head.
Now that Sabathia has made his decision, coupled with top closer Francisco Rodriguez also looking for a new condo in Manhattan after joining the Mets, one would figure that the movement at the Winter Meetings would begin to move.
A.J. Burnett has been rumored to be on the verge of receiving a guaranteed fifth year on a deal from the Atlanta Braves to join recently acquired Javier Vazquez in their rotation.
