Celtics Determined After Film Session

In the BOSTON GLOBE, Marc J. Spears writes "the Celtics spent about 90 minutes yesterday watching a film they knew had a bad ending. Practice yesterday at Morehouse College was canceled, and the team had possibly its longest film session of the season at its hotel instead. The detailed viewing came on the heels of Boston's 102-93 Game 3 loss to the Hawks Saturday at Philips Arena. The Celtics, the Eastern Conference's top seed, hold a 2-1 lead over eighth seed Atlanta in the best-of-seven first-round series, with Game 4 here tonight.” [link]

Contested Three Pointers - 4/28

Well, I'm not bored anymore. Tonight will be interesting to say the least. This is the first test of the post season. I hope they pass. Can't help but think that the emotion of game 3 was a carryover from game 2. The Hawks made things chippy with their physical play and the Celtics let them know in no uncertain terms who was winning by 20 points.

Hawks Fly High

I could give you a bunch of excuses about why the Celtics lost this game. We could go over the officiating, the shot clock issues, or Sam Cassell's poor shot selection in the 4th. But that would simply not give the Hawks enough credit. I have to hand it to them, they came out and played a fantastic game.

Is Paul Pierce Throwing Gang Signs?

At first I thought this was something harmless... until people saw this video and said in the comments that Paul Pierce threw a gang sign at Al Horford after the rookie's crazy, taunting outburst. My first inclination is to say no way.... but.... I don't really know about these things. Remember... I'm a blogger... I'm in my mom's basement. Please don't kill me.
