Boston Celtics swingman Paul Pierce is ready for Game 3 of the playoffs series against Atlanta, despite being body-slammed to the floor in their last win.
Pierce had no problems in practice Friday before the Celtics headed to Atlanta for Saturday's game.
Coach Doc River says the training staff placed no restrictions on Pierce, who the team says injured his back before returning later in the first half of Wednesday's 96-77 victory over the Hawks.
