Charlotte Bobcats Weekly Update — Dec. 5

 
This has been the best week by far this season for the Bobcats as they have gotten more comfortable with coach Larry Brown’s system.  Jason Richardson (19 ppg) was inserted back into the starting lineup last Friday night and the team has responded well, winning three of their last four.  The Bobcats beat the Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Oklahoma City Thunder last week with their only loss coming in a closely contested game with the defending champion Boston Celtics. Emeka Okafor continued his strong play in the post and has 59 points, 23 rebounds, and five blocks in his last two games.  The Bobcats have been looking for scoring production down low and Okafor has finally begun to deliver. Raymond Felton has been the steady hand for the Bobcats over the last few weeks and he has pushed Charlotte in their wins.  He is averaging 11 points and 13 assists over the last two games.
