Well, who would have guessed it, Chelsea's run of 86 unbeaten games on home soil has been stopped in its tracks by the "Mighty Reds"; the "Comeback Kings" of this season.
As Liverpool and Chelsea started the game on Sunday at Stamford Bridge, they were both joint top of the Premier League with 20 points each, with Chelsea being in front by a plus nine goal difference.
Chelsea nearly scored their first goal in the match between the top two as early as the third minute when Xabi Alonso slipped, allowing the home team to break through, but thankfully Jamie Carragher was there to strike the ball to safety.
Seven minutes later Alonso's next contribution was of course, the only goal scored of the game; an attempt on goal that took a slight deflection off Bosingwa that was enough to send the Chelsea keeper the wrong way.
Liverpool had many chances throughout the two halves to double their lead, including an Alonso freekick which struck the foot of the post, leaving Petr Cech ...
