Chelsea Skipper COULD Miss United Clash

 
John Terry was sent off in Chelsea’s match against Everton tonight following a late and high tackle on Leon Osman. As it stands a three match ban would see him miss Premiership games against West Brom and Fulham, as well as Southend in the Cup, one match short of their trip to Old Trafford. However, if Chelsea appeal the decision his ban would fall later on, meaning he could miss the United game. This is all hypothetical though of course and assuming that the FA don’t rescind the yellow card on the ground that it was John Terry, the British bulldog, the iron man, who’s violent challenges are merely a result of his passion and commitment. I, for one, hope they do not appeal, as I am looking forward to the piss-taking he will receive. He managed to play in the Stamford Bridge game after the FA deemed his rugby tackle at City unworthy of any punishment, where he received a chant or two from our travelling support.
