Chiefs Inept in Loss to Dolphins

 
Some may call it a step back, others may say its progress halted. Whatever you want to call it, the harsh reality of the Chiefs’ 24-0 beating by the Dolphins is that this is the way it’s going to be this year. This team isn’t very good and it’s going to take a couple more years of work and more infusion of talent in order for them to be good. There was nothing encouraging about Saturday night’s embarrassment to Miami, which finished 1-15 last season, as the league’s worst team. The first team offense was inept. The defense missed tackles and applied little, if any pressure on Miami quarterback Chad Pennington. The special teams gave the Dolphins great field position and couldn’t give KC’s offense any kind of lift. This is something Chiefs fans better get used to.
