Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie Croyle injured his right hand in the second quarter at Detroit and was replaced by Damon Huard. Croyle was hurt when he lunged at Lions cornerback Travis Fisher, who was blocking for linebacker Paris Lennon as he returned an interception for a touchdown that put Detroit ahead 19-0.

Jones caught a pass late in the first half and after being tackled, he immediately grabbed his right knee.

Lions' Jones has torn ligament in knee
detnews.com 12/24/2007 — Detroit Lions tailback Kevin Jones has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He suffered the injury late in the first half of Sunday's victory over Kansas City.
Jones will miss the final game Sunday at Green Bay. No decision has been made on whether Jones will need surgery.
