Chivas USA beats Earthquakes 1-0 (AP)

 
Ante Razov scored on a free kick in the 88th minute, helping Chivas USA beat San Jose 1-0 at Home Depot Center on Saturday night and move into a first-place tie in the Western Conference. Chivas goalkeeper Brad Guzan made a pair of late saves to keep the Earthquakes off the scoreboard. Guzan turned away Kelly Gray and Kei Kamara within one minute of each other. (link)
