Chivas USA defender Lawson Vaughn is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks after undergoing surgery over the weekend for a fractured nose. Vaughn, in his third season with Chivas USA, was injured in the 9th minute of Saturday's game against the Dynamo in Houston that ended in a scoreless tie.
