Choo Choo! Next Stop: St. Louis for the All-Star Game

 
It hasn't been the best year for the Cleveland Indians. They are sitting 12.5 games out of the Central and are 17 games below .500. The pitching staff has been brutally awful, especially the bullpen. Injuries to Grady Sizemore have taken their toll. Victor Martinez can only do so much. But in all the disappointments of Cleveland baseball this year, there is a shining star in Shin-Soo Choo. Let's break down his statistics: Batting average: Choo is batting .301. That's .039 points higher than Jason Bay. He has the eighth best batting average for American League outfielders. On-base percentage: Choo has an insane .406 on-base percentage. That's the second best for American League outfielders. He gets on base more than leadoff hitter Ichiro Suzuki. Runs batted in: Choo has 53 RBI. That's the third best for American League outfielders, as only Torii Hunter and Jason Bay have more. Other: Choo has also been great in the other aspects of the game.
