Citi Field recalls, renews sport's legacy

The days are dwindling to a precious few at Shea Stadium, and looming just beyond the left-center-field fence, the future home of the Mets, with its red-brick façade and Ebbets Field-like rotunda, is nearing completion.

The Mets are heading to their second home, Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ. Since Chase Field (previously Bank of America Ballpark) opened as the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 1998, the Mets have played 34 games there.
