Clark glad to have shot with Padres

Just as many Arizona residents trip to San Diego during the summer, former Diamondbacks first baseman Tony Clark is doing the same this year. Clark is happy to be playing with his hometown team this season, even though he will again be a backup.

A few years ago, the player on my personal Wizards Watch list was Colt Morton. He intrigued me because he was in a third stint. I don’t think he hit over .150 in the first two tries, but in 2005, he hit .261 with 10 home runs and 46 runs batted in over 222 at-bats.
