College B-Ball: Teams, Players, Coaches to Watch
It was a great weekend of marquee match-ups, but before we get to those games, let’s rewind a week: After the Louisville “White Out” game, we now know Rick Pitino brings a minimum of two suits to each basketball game. Great, but a few questions come to mind. Halftime is 15 minutes. In the time it took Pitino to change suits, re-comb and reapply the ‘Dapper Dan’ gel to his hair, get his hourly Botox treatment, and call to check the status of his horses, what exactly did he have time to say to his team? Did he even go into the locker room? Did any of his players think to ask, “Where’s Coach?” Check the college sidelines sometime. Between recruiting, watching film, and cashing in on endorsement money, when do these guys have time to buy a different five thousand dollar suit for each game?
