College Basketball: Five Games in Five Days

 
Wow, what a great start to the New Year in college basketball. This week should be just as good. Here are five games in the next five days that shouldn’t be missed.   Monday Georgetown at Notre Dame 7:00 p.m. ESPN One of these two Big East favorites is going to open conference play with a 1-2 record. Georgetown must get on the glass after getting outrebounded 43-17 against Pitt. Notre Dame must shoot better from the perimeter after hitting just 24 percent from the three-point line in their loss to St. John’s. For the diehard: Western Kentucky at Mississippi State   Tuesday Ohio State at Michigan State 7:00 p.m. ESPN2 With Kalin Lucas and Raymar Morgan leading the way, Michigan State looks like they could run away in the Big Ten.
