College Football Week Three Picks

 
Ten more games on tap for Week Three. On Friday: Kansas at USF Three reasons why I like USF in this one:  1.) The Florida humidity, 2.) The swarming Bulls’ defense, and 3.) A home crowd that will be at its absolute best for an ESPN audience.  Kansas will need close to a perfect game to pull this one out, and I don’t see that happening.  Winner:  USF, 31-24 And Saturday’s games: Georgia at South Carolina In two games against the Gamecocks, Matt Stafford has zero touchdowns and four interceptions.  That changes Saturday, although the Gamecock D will keep it closer than most expect. A Stephen Garcia showing will throw Williams Brice stadium into a tizzy…until he throws an interception.  Did I mention that Carolina has lost its last 10 games on CBS?  Ouch.  Winner:  Georgia, 24-20  UCLA at BYU BYU finally gets its act together.  Winner:   BYU, 34-21 Auburn at Mississippi State  ...
