Everyone knows the top two teams in the country, North Carolina and UCLA, but will one of these teams be the last man standing at the end?
UCLA is coming off a huge overtime win against Stanford, to claim the PAC-10 title, and North Carolina is playing Duke on Saturday to decide the ACC, but what about the other teams looking for postseason success.
Memphis, Tennessee, Kansas and Duke are the other teams that have the best chance to cut down the net, but first let’s breakdown No.1 and No. 2.
North Carolina, they are playing their best basketball of the season and a win at Duke should all but wrap up a number 1 seed in the east region. The Tarheels are 10-0 on the road and a number 1 seed is important because the first four games are played in North Carolina.
So if UNC wins their four NC games, they’re in the final four. UCLA is almost certainly the number 1 seed in the west region. This will allow the Bruins to play their first two games in their home state. With freshman ...
