The Colts will sit five starters Sunday at Oakland, with injuries to defensive end Robert Mathis leaving the team without any of the first-string defensive linemen it had to start training camp.
The Colts decided Saturday that Mathis and safety Antoine Bethea would not play against the Raiders, Indianapolis spokesman Craig Kelley said.

mvn.com 12/15/2007 — Enough of the drama, there is a football game tomorrow. The defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts invade Oakland to face the Raiders. On the surface of things, this one has all the makings of a slaughter. Reports: Kiffin wanted Arkansas job
sacbee.com 12/15/2007 — Raiders coach Lane Kiffin probably thought Falcons coach Bobby Petrino resigning Tuesday to take the Arkansas job officially would end speculation Kiffin wanted the job. Wrong. Reports on Wednesday had Kiffin angry he didn't get the job. One said Kiffin was so upset that he slammed doors and cursed. Then again, he might have just watched film of Sunday's 38-7 loss at Green Bay.

Raiders' LaMont Jordan Wants the Season to Be Over Already
sports.aol.com 12/15/2007 — This caught me off guard: Raiders running back LaMont Jordan is ready for the season to be over. Yep, being a benchwarmer on on a four-win team apparently isn't as glamorous as it sounds. Jordan was leading the league in rushing during the first month of the season and then lost his job to Justin Fargas . Not exactly how he had envisioned it, I'm guessing. Don't worry, though; just because ...
