Come to Think of it...NFL: Favre, Warner to Face Off in "Geriatric Bowl"

 
(Photo courtesy of www.kissingsuzykolber.com ) On Sunday, two of the more, shall we say, "mature" quarterbacks in the NFL will square off in what is becoming known in some circles as "The Geriatric Bowl".  First, the vitals: Brett Favre is 38 and Kurt Warner is 37. Both have played in, and won, the Super Bowl  One is with a new team—Favre leaving the Pack after unceremoniously un-retiring and signing with the Jets, while the other, Warner, pitches for the Arizona Cardinals. The Jets desperately need a victory. Following an opening day win over the Dolphins, they have looked disheveled in losses to the Pats and Chargers. Meanwhile, the surprising Arizona Cardinals are leading the NFC West with a 2-1 record in the early going.   Thus far, Warner has had the better results between the two AARP candidates. He has a 111.7 QB rating and has completed 64.3 percent of his passes, throwing six TDs and only one interception. Favre, ... (link)
