Days after winning his 14th major title, it looks like the Willis Reed of golf is going to require surgery on the knee that gave him so much pain in the process of his victory. (Press Release) June 18: Just days after winning the 2008 U.S. Open in a dramatic sudden-death playoff, Tiger Woods announced that he will be forced to undergo reconstructive Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) surgery on his left knee and will miss the remainder of the PGA TOUR season.
