Cooper phones in ejection displeasure

Astros manager Cecil Cooper is unhappy about his ejection from Sunday's game in Arlington, and this time, he didn't wait to hear from Major League Baseball vice president of rules and on-field operations Bob Watson about the matter.

I realize the season is young and that injuries or a slump can put Berkman right back in his place, but I am still optimistic. The more I watch Berkman, look at his past seasons, the current Astros lineup and his current pace, I think we may be looking at the top hitter in fantasy leagues this season.Week Seven’s Hottest Hitters

So maybe they can take the show -- if not the Showtime -- on the road. Coming off their best 10-game homestand in 30 years, the Cubs traveled to Houston to put their tepid 2008 road work on the line against one of baseball's hotter teams.
