After losing Game Two at home, things looked bleak for the Boston Celtics as they headed to Detroit for Games Three and Four. Coming into Game Three the Celtics were yet to win on the road and by losing at home they were put in a position of having to win a road game in this series.Celtics win on road for 2-1 series lead (AP)

Detroit's fans showed up at game three of the Eastern Conference Finals ready to cheer for their conquering heroes after the Pistons' road win in game two but by the second half the Pistons trailed by 24 and boos echoed through the Palace of Auburn Hills.
