Could Jason Kidd Attract Big Stars To New York Knicks In 2010?

 
The New York Knicks' team president Donnie Walsh and free agent point guard Jason Kidd met yesterday to discuss the veteran player's future. The Knicks have expressed interest in Kidd and he would provide that solid, ball handling point guard the Knicks need. With questions floating around the Ricky Rubio situation and bad play down the stretch last season by Chris Duhon, Kidd would be that main point guard who could run the Mike D'Antoni system and get other players the ball in perfect times. As tough as it is, this upcoming 2009 season for New York is truly just a building block for the free agent summer of 2010 where the big name players, such as LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh become free agents. The Knicks are working themselves into getting under the salary cap and have made the team better by drafting power forward Jordan Hill and guard Toney Douglas, while acquiring center Darko Milicic in the Quentin Richardson trade.
