Bruised thumb and all, Tony Romo connected with Terrell Owens for a 10-yard touchdown pass and Marion Barber had a short scoring run to help the Dallas Cowboys take a 14-0 lead over the Carolina Panthers in the second quarter Saturday night.

The NFL Network is reporting that T.O. has a high left ankle sprain. It's tough to predict ankle injuries, but the high sprains often keep players out for two to three weeks. Nice play by Thomas Davis breaking on the throw to Sam Hurd. Davis, a former safety, probably should've made the interception. Well, he just made up for it.
