Cowboys' Romo expected to start Saturday (AP)

Tony Romo's bruised right thumb should be just fine when the Dallas Cowboys play the Carolina Panthers on Saturday night, but he'll be taking snaps from a new center. Cory Procter will replace Andre Gurode, who won't be traveling because of an injured left knee. Safety Pat Watkins will be staying home because of an ankle problem.
