According to TSN, the Flyers have signed defenseman Ossi Vaananen to a one year, $1 million dollar deal. At 6′4″, 215 lbs, Vaananen was drafted in the second round, 43rd pick overall, by the Phoenix Coyotes in 1998. After 4 seasons with the Coyotes, he spent 3 years with the Colorado Avalanche.
