Cubs' Nationals nightmare over

After the game Sunday, Cubs right fielder Kosuke Fukudome sat in the trainer's room having that bothersome cyst above his right eye lanced again. If you think that was painful to watch, you should have seen the Cubs trying to hit with guys on base the last few days. Talk about the creeps.

While there have been a lot of things to be happy about with this Cubs team this season, the player I am happiest about is C Geovony Soto . Soto is the co-leader for Rookie of the Year at this point, with teammate Kosuke Fukudome , as he's hitting .353 with 3 home runs, 14 RBI's and has a .451 on-base %. I think we all saw what Soto brought to the Cubs last season at the end of the year but
