At the plate Cubs got nine hits but scored only once for the second time in two games out of the break -- which makes four runs in their past three games, all losses. Leadoff man Ryan Theriot had three hits, and pitcher Carlos Zambrano had a homer for all the scoring. Nobody else had more than a single.
