D-League: Fort Wayne's Richardson Signs With Grizzlies

In the JOURNAL GAZETTE, Steve Warden writes "what is a milestone for Fort Wayne's first-year NBA Development League franchise is another opportunity for Jeremy Richardson. The 6-foot-7 swingman whose 28.5 points-a-game average leads the D-League, was summoned Tuesday morning by the Memphis Grizzlies. It is the fourth time in less than two seasons that Richardson has been called up from the D-League. Last year, while playing with the now-defunct team from Fort Worth, Richardson was called up once by Portland and twice by Atlanta. Without Richardson, Fort Wayne lost to the Tulsa 66ers 122-92 on Wednesday in Oklahoma. Walker Russell led the Ants with 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists.” [link]
