As we watch the many of the last decades first round QB's flop or fade away one wonders what is the difference between an NFL QB's success or failure? Is it Coaching? Luck? Superior personnel and a scheme suited to the QB's talents? A chemical quirk of the brain that allows instantaneous decision making when viewing flowing defenses? Or is it drive and luck? Does Tony Romo go to bed each night saying: “Just tell yourself, Duckie, you're really quite lucky!” Its a long journey from Eastern Illinois Panther QB to undrafted free agent to being the Pro Bowl QB of the Dallas Cowboys, a multi million dollar NFL contract, and dating a beautiful blond singer starlet. Other arm candy singer starlets long for their days with Romeo Romo. Or maybe they don't. Still the dice are hot for Romo. Life is good. Romo ought to listen to the Talking Heads?
