Dancing with the Miami Dolphins

 
Bill Parcells has to be beside himself with the news that his team's best player, Jason Taylor, is spending his off-season preparing for an appearance on “Dancing with the Stars.” When a team is trying to rebound from an NFL-worst 1-15 record, the last thing that a team leader needs to be doing is dancing on a reality show in sequins and tights.  Memo to Jason: Emmitt Smith was retired when he went on (and won) that show, not trying to resurrect a team wallowing in the cellar of the league. The aforementioned Parcells, who as the new Team President and General Manager is trying to bring a winning attitude back to Miami, has to be less than pleased with his only star player. How will Parcells possibly tell the younger players to live, drink, and eat football while the spectacle of their veteran leader on reality TV looms in the backdrop? The answer is he can't. You heard it here first—the Dolphins will continue to stink next year. Maybe Miami just isn't a football ... (link)
